Among many honors, Dr. Giffioen was 2018 class valedictorian at North Carolina College of Veterinary Medicine , and is now a veterinary intern at the Mystic Aquarium in Connecticut. Dr. Giffioen was recognized as an advocate for total health at\u00a0 NCCVM\u00a0\u00a0https:\/\/cvm.ncsu.edu\/alum-griffioen-18-honored-as-a-strong-voice-for-student-wellness\/<\/a><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n As a freshman at LSSU, John established the marine aquarium in the Crawford Hall lobby.
